Founded by Dr. Ben Okwara and Engr. Julius Okwara, our Foundation works at the heart of Ideato South to ensure every child can learn, every family can access healthcare, and every community has the resources to thrive.

The Challenge

The challenges facing our communities

In Ideato South, Imo State, families face a daily struggle between educating their children and meeting basic needs. Rural schools lack funding, healthcare is scarce, and infrastructure gaps keep communities from reaching their potential.

70%

Over 70% of rural Nigerian secondary school students face fees they cannot afford, putting their futures at risk.

1 in 3

Many families are forced to choose between school fees and healthcare — an impossible decision no family should face.

A Story of Change

Onyebuchi Wisdom Obinna

“With a heart full of gratitude, I sincerely appreciate Dr. Ben Okwara and Engr. Julius Okwara (Chief Agubata) for the scholarship awarded to me and many other students, as well as the free healthcare support extended to my sick mother. Your generosity came at a time when my family truly needed hope, and your kindness has brought joy, relief, and renewed strength to us. I am especially grateful that, through OCF, I was given the opportunity to continue my education. Indeed, the greatest gift…”
